Snoop Dogg Announces His Second Wave Of Breakfast Food Products

Snoop Dogg unveils his second stream of products in his Broadus Foods line, Momma Snoop Breakfast Foods.

On Thursday, Snoop introduced a new collection of breakfast foods following the success of his Snoop Loopz cereal. Mom,ma Snoop’s collection consists of traditional breakfast items including: instant grits, oatmeal, maple syrup and pancake mix.

“That’s how we doin’ it,” Snoop says in the Instagram clip. “Makin’ it real easy for you to get up in the morning, get you something to eat, start your day off right. Somethin’ healthy, somethin’ generational, somethin’ from me and P, to you and yours.”

Snoop created Broadus Foods with the help of Master P, who have dubbed themselves as the “Kings of Breakfast Foods.” The company was founded to further the legacy of Snoop’s late mother, Beverly Tate, who had a passion for feeding families in the community.

Outside of his own personal motivation, Snoop hopes the brand “inspire economic empowerment by adding diversity into the grocery stores industry and creating opportunities for minority-owned food products and brands.”

“There was a void for our culture when they took ‘Aunt Jemima’ off the shelves,” Snoop wrote in his caption. “We’re replacing it with ‘Momma Snoop’ pancake mix, syrup, grits and oatmeal adding diversity into the grocery stores industry and creating opportunities for minority-owned food products and brands.”
