Soulja Boy calls out Elon Musk for Twitter changes and threatens to launch his own social media platform.
On Friday, Big Draco fired shots at Twitter’s new owner for the slew of changes happening to the app. In addition, Soulja also announced that he’s developing a new social media platform.
“Bro leave twitter alone @elonmusk wtf are you doing,” Soulja tweets. In a follow-up tweet, Soulja adds, “Wow…I can’t believe this. F*ck it, I’m going to create my own app.”

Soulja even went so far as telling his 5.5 million followers that he’s leaving the platform and will solely be on Instagram until his app is released.

Soulja’s rant comes shortly after Musk purchased the app for $44 million a few weeks ago. Since his acquisition, Musk have made plenty of changes to the app. Within his two-week ownership span, Musk has held a massive layoff, fired executives, and updated the Twitter Blue subscription which cost $8 a month.
Musk decided to offer the blue verification badge through the paid subscriptions to all users. The change only lasted a few days before being suspended.
If you are concerned about Soulja actually being able to pull off having his own social site, you may want to think again.
Throughout his career, Soulja has been known to be innovative and up to date with technology. In fact, he was the first rapper to use UStream, first to go “viral” on YouTube, first to have his own gaming console, and first to get verified on Instagram.
