50 Cent has no plans of ending his BMF collection anytime soon.
On Monday, the STARZ network announced that its eight-episode docuseries, chronicling the rise and fall of the infamous Black Mafia Family, would be turned into a full documentary. The ‘BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast’ will premiere on October 23rd as a companion piece to 50’s hit scripted series BMF.
“The success of BMF demonstrates a continued rise in fan demand and interest in the story of the Flenory brothers,” Jeffrey Hirsch, President and CEO of STARZ said. “We’re excited to dive deeper into the world of Black Mafia Family in this new project with Curtis, Shan, and the teams at G-Unit and Jigsaw.”

The BMF series followed the rise and fall of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The Flenory brothers founded BMF in Southwest Detroit in 1985.
In 2000, Meech and Southwest T created one of the most prominent drug organizations in the United States. Together the brother racked in over $270 million in drug profits before getting arrested in 2005.
The series aired in 2021 and is considered one of the network’s best shows to watch. In fact, the show earned the number 1 premiere spot on the STARZ app last year.
BMF has since been renewed for a second season and will premiere sometime in January 2023.
