Stefon Diggs’ Ex Drops Paternity and Child Support Lawsuit After DNA Test Is Completed

A legal dispute involving NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs has come to a quiet close after his former partner moved to dismiss her paternity and child support case.

Court records show Aileen Lopera filed paperwork requesting the full dismissal of her lawsuit against Diggs earlier this week. The filing came shortly after her attorney confirmed that a DNA test had been completed and the matter was resolved. No additional details were provided in the court documents, and the dismissal was entered without prejudice.

Lopera initially filed the petition in late 2024, stating she had given birth to a daughter earlier that year and alleging Diggs was the child’s father. Her filing asked the court to establish legal paternity, award her sole legal and physical custody, and order Diggs to pay child support and pregnancy-related expenses.

At the time, Diggs formally responded by requesting genetic testing, stating he could not confirm paternity without DNA results. He also asked the court to consider joint custody if testing showed he was the father.

In a statement shared with Us Weekly, Lopera’s attorney Tamar G. Arminak said only that the situation had been settled, offering no further comment on whether a private agreement was reached between the parties.

The case unfolded while Diggs’ personal life remained in the public eye due to his relationship with Cardi B, who has spoken openly about expecting a child with the NFL player. Neither Diggs nor Cardi B has publicly addressed the dismissal.

With the case now closed, no further court hearings are scheduled, and the dispute appears resolved without additional litigation.
