Houston Texans star Stefon Diggs has taken legal action against model and former Basketball Wives Orlando personality Mulan Hernandez, accusing her of assault, destruction of property, and attempting to extort him for millions of dollars.
According to TMZ, Diggs filed the lawsuit this week, detailing a June 7, 2024 incident where Hernandez allegedly showed up uninvited at his apartment at 6 a.m. after a night of partying. The NFL star claims she aggressively berated him, threw his phone into a toilet, destroyed his personal computer and a $130,000 watch, and punched him in the chest multiple times before telling him, “You won’t be playing this year.”
Diggs says he left his own home to avoid further confrontation. After this, he attempted to distance himself from Hernandez, but alleges that she and her friend Brianna Mack resorted to an extortion plot.
In the lawsuit, Diggs claims Hernandez sought medical attention for nausea and vomiting following a fall in her kitchen on June 7. However, on June 14, she went to another hospital and reported that she was hit in the back of the head. Diggs maintains that he never assaulted Hernandez and had no contact with her after June 7, yet she allegedly demanded millions from him.
Hernandez has denied all accusations, claiming Diggs was the real aggressor.
“On June 7th, I was assaulted from behind by Stefon Diggs at our residence, an incident that resulted in a concussion,” she wrote on Instagram, adding that she believes the lawsuit is an attempt to “get ahead of the truth.” She also shared an alleged hospital report stating that she suffered a concussion on the same day.
Diggs is suing Hernandez and Mack for trespassing, emotional distress, aiding and abetting, and conspiracy, with Hernandez also facing an assault accusation. He is seeking at least $250,000 in damages.
