Steph Curry On Donald Trump’s LeBron James Tweet: “That Rhetoric Is All Based In Some Longstanding Racism In Terms Of Black Men With a Voice In Power”

Despite the longstanding on-court rivalry between Steph Curry and LeBron James, the two are on the same team when it comes to their disapproval of the Celebrity-in-Chief, Donald Trump.

In a recent interview with Logan Murdock of the Mercury News, Curry broke down Trump’s tweet about James and his interview with CNN’s Don Lemon.

“That rhetoric is all based in some longstanding racism in terms of black men with a voice in power,” Curry said. “Unfortunately, that’s being revealed more and more as the days go on.”

However, this was not the first time the two NBA ballers tag-teamed on Donald Trump. In fact, just last year, James fired off his famed “U Bum” tweet to Trump, in Curry’s defense after he declined to attend Golden State’s Championship visit to the White House.

The two were on the same page when both agreed to forgo the championship visit after the 2018 NBA Finals, as well.
