Dame Dash is responding after music executive Steve Stoute cleared up rumors about their past altercation.
During his time on “The Pivot,” Stoute addressed Dash’s story about him allegedly slapping Stoute over $18,000. Stoute admitted that they got into a physical altercation in an office with several bystanders. However, in another incident, Stoute claims Dash once pushed a woman in front of him to avoid another fight.
“I went to step to him. This man pushed the girl in front of me and took off running. The girl he pushed in front of me falls and then sues me. The insurance company pays out her,” Stoute explained, later adding that after the woman was paid, she revealed to him that she and Dash used the lawsuit money to relocate to Los Angeles.
“He’s in bad shape. He’s been in bad shape for a long time,” Stoute added.
Dash caught wind of these remarks and reposted the clip with his own explanation. According to the former Roc-A-Fella mogul, the infamous slap indeed happened.
“ @stevestoute I smacked the s**t out of you and that was it get over it…and me running from you in front of my girl is the funnest s**t I ever heard 10 dudes in the room is crazy…we are both over 50 now go get some therapy and move on,” Dash captioned the post.
Back in March, during an episode of the “Relate to Great” podcast, Dash claimed he smacked Stoute so hard that he broke his Franck Muller watch.
