Mimi and Stevie J have had a volatile love/hate relationship for as long as Love and Hip Hop Atlanta fans can remember. One minute, they want to kill each other and the next minute, they’re having threesomes with Joseline…allegedly. Well, it looks like the two ex-lovers are on the outs again following Mimi’s announcement to the world that she’s now dating a woman.
During a party that she was throwing, Mimi shocked friends and fans alike when she came out as a lesbian and introduced her girlfriend Chris to everyone. While most of her castmates seem happy for the couple, Mimi’s baby daddy is definitely feeling some type of way.
According to TMZ, Stevie says that he does not approve of Mimi’s new lesbian relationship. He’s especially concerned for their 6-year-old daughter Ava and doesn’t want her around Mimi and Chris. He doesn’t believe it’s in his daughter’s best interest to be raised in a lesbian household, and think it’s better if she’s raised by a man and woman. Moreover, Stevie also says that Mimi’s new relationship is really just a ploy to make her more relevant on the show.
Though he doesn’t plan on taking legal action against Mimi, Stevie does plan on doing all he can to keep Ava away and it certainly wouldn’t be surprising if he was secretly plotting to break up Mimi’s happy union.
