Summer Walker is turning her past heartbreaks into an interactive fan experience ahead of her new album, “Finally Over It.”
On Saturday, November 8, she will host a one-day-only escape room in Atlanta in partnership with YouTube, just days before the album drops. The escape room is based on her entire “Over It” trilogy, including 2019’s “Over It,” 2021’s “Still Over It,” and the upcoming “Finally Over It.”
Each room represents different relationship “red flags,” from a baby daddy to the ex with a low credit score or the guy who always asks, “Where my hug at?”
Fans who make it through all the challenges will get early access to Walker’s new music, and the singer herself is expected to appear as a surprise.
“It’s more than an escape, it’s a night of music, moments, and moving on — made for those who live and breathe the story,” the event announcement said.
Walker also shared a teaser on social media, parodying the opening of “Scream.” In the clip, Ghostface calls her and references a date she brought to the MTV Video Music Awards, ending on a suspenseful cliffhanger that builds anticipation for both the escape room and the album.
Fans can register for the experience and will receive the exact Atlanta location on Friday, November 7, at noon ET. “Finally Over It” will be released in full on Friday, November 14.
