A SWAT raid on a Texas home belonging to NBA Youngboy resulted in three arrests and the seizing of multiple weapons.
According to TMZ, the SWAT team arrived at the Texas residence on Tuesday morning with a warrant. Authorities arrested three Youngboy associates and charged them with aggravated robbery and assault. The charges stem from their connection to a shooting in November 2021. The man survived the shooting but suffered several body and headshots.
The SWAT officers seized AR-15 rifles, pistols, and long firearms during the raid.
Even though the property was purchased by Youngboy, the home has been occupied by his mother, Sheronda Gaulden. However, it is unclear if she was present at the time of the raid, but reports also show that she was not arrested.
NBA Youngboy has been dealing with his own gun-related charges. The rapper was released from jail back in October 2021. The arrest comes after a warrant for his arrest was issued in his Baton Rouge hometown for firearm charges. Youngboy was released from jail after paying $500,000 and is currently on house arrest in Utah.
