Rolling Stone reported that T.I. and Tiny Harris won a significant legal victory in their ongoing battle with former friend Sabrina Peterson.
On Tuesday, reporter Nancy Dillion tweeted, “In a loss for Sabrina Peterson, the judge ruled Tuesday she must pay T.I. and Tiny a whopping $96,703 to cover their legal bills in getting 5 of the 7 claims in Peterson’s original lawsuit dismissed T.I. and Tiny wanted $116,902. Peterson argued no fees should be granted.”
So far, the Harris family has resolved one legal case but still faces two others.
On Monday, they responded to Peterson’s defamation lawsuit, stating they told the truth and didn’t harm her reputation when denying her accusations of assault. Peterson accused them of sexual and physical abuse and holding a gun to her head.
T.I. and Tiny Harris waited to respond to Peterson’s lawsuit because California’s 2nd Appellate District dismissed most of her claims in June, leaving only defamation and invasion of privacy allegations.
In January 2021, Peterson alleged that T.I. threatened her with a gun and made a threatening statement during an argument with his assistant. She also shared videos and screenshots from other Atlanta women accusing the couple of sexual and physical abuse.
