It’s been a long time coming, but the wait paid off.
T.I., Tiny, and the OMG Girlz just scored a huge legal win against MGA Entertainment, the company behind the L.O.L. Surprise! OMG dolls.
A federal jury found the dolls copied the group’s signature style and look, slapping them with a $71.4 million bill. The judge tacked on 3.972% interest, bringing the total to about $74.2 million.
But don’t expect anyone to cash in just yet.
MGA is taking the fight to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and everything’s on pause until that plays out.
But for now? The OMG Girlz scored big.
