Tamar Braxton Reveals ‘Queens Court’ Finalist Jeremy “JR” Robinson Proposed To Her After Three Weeks [Video]

Tamar Braxton is opening up about her engagement to Queens Court finalist, Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson.

After news broke yesterday that Braxton found love on the new dating show, the 46-year-old stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ and gave a little insight into their relationship. In fact, Braxton revealed that the two got engaged after three weeks of knowing each other. Oddly enough, the singer appeared on the morning show a week prior as a guest host and spoke about relationships and marriage but did not disclose the proposal.

“I have a confession to make,” Braxton said. “When I came here, I was already engaged. I just couldn’t say nothing but it was three weeks.”

Co-host DJ Envy then asked Braxton how she knew Robinson was the one for her.

“We are very like-minded,” she added. “He’s different you know.”

Braxton also says the love between her and Robinson is real despite finding each other on a dating show and says she’s really happy with her decision.

“No, it’s real,” Braxton says. “I’m extremely happy, I’m happy with myself, I really am.”

Braxton’s recent engagement comes just three years after she split from her ex David Adefeso. The former couple dated for two years before calling it quits in 2020. Braxton and Adefeso both complained about abuse, with the latter filing a domestic violence restraining order against the singer.

Braxton was also previously married to record producer Vincent Herbert. However, the two ended their nine-year marriage in 2017 after welcoming their 9-year-old, Logan, in 2013.
