Just days after sources close to Vincent Herbert said he would fight for his marriage, TMZ reports that Tamar Braxton is not having it.
The songstress filed for divorce from Vince last week, prompting the music producer to work overtime to convince Braxton to change her mind. However, sources close to the singer say that she is completely through with Vince and their 9-year marriage.
According to TMZ, Braxton is keeping herself surrounded by family and friends to stay focused on her career and her own well-being. She’s already moved out the house and cut ties with her estranged husband. Although she’s still doing press tour for their show, “Tamar & Vince,” she is doing it alone.
This news comes after Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, spilled the beans about the couple’s relationship. In a message to Vince, via TMZ, Evelyn told the music producer to keep his hands of her child, suggesting that he’d been abusive. Braxton’s sisters also gave their baby sister props for leaving Vince, saying it’s been a long time coming.
