Tamika Scott from the legendary group Xscape recently shared a heartfelt moment on social media, explaining why she decided to bless a waitress with a $700 tip during a night out.

In a video, Tamika revealed she went to a restaurant in Buford, Georgia, with her daughter about thirty minutes before closing. Instead of being welcomed, she said she was ignored.

“It was like five or six waitresses and four of them turned their backs,” Tamika explained. “No one helped us, and we stood there for five minutes.”

Finally, a young server approached and offered to help despite whispers from other staff questioning her decision. That act of kindness struck a chord with Tamika.

“Never judge a book by its cover,” she shared. “Be patient because you never know when you’ll be blessed.”

The clip shows Tamika counting out $700 before handing it to the stunned waitress, who said the gesture “made my night.” The server responded in disbelief, asking, “Oh my goodness, are you guys sure?” before expressing her gratitude.
