A Georgia mother was allegedly stabbed to death by her own son on Thanksgiving.
Police arrested 18-year-old Varian Hibbert after he allegedly stabbed his 42-year-old mother Marcia Chance to death in their Lawrenceville residence yesterday. Gwinnett Daily reports the incident took place a little before noon. Fox News reports that officers responded to a domestic violence call.
The teen has been charged with felony murder, among other charges, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. No details about why the teen stabbed his mother have been released.
However, reports show Hibbert was previously arrested in August and was charged with second-degree criminal damage to property and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers by use of threats or violence.
