Terrell Owens had a terrifying run-in with a player after a pickup basketball game in Calabasas.Â
According to TMZ, Owens was on the court during what was supposed to be a friendly basketball game. However, an argument of some sort ensued. While it’s unclear what the friction was about, the angry ball player stormed off and got into his car. He then hit the gas and plowed toward Owens, striking him with the car. The vehicle hit Owens’ knee, but the driver did not stop.Â
Thankfully, Owens’ injuries are not life-threatening, and he did not require medical attention. Police did respond and took an assault report. They are now working to identify the road rager. In the meantime, Owens is keeping quiet about the incident, though he is no stranger to these sorts of outbursts.Â
Last year, a female neighbor was hit with charges of making a false police report following a dispute with Owens. In a video of that incident, the woman was heard yelling, “You’re a Black man approaching a white woman!” Eventually, the charge against her was dropped. Also, last year, the retired NFL star got in a fight with a heckler at a CVS in Los Angeles who was reportedly pestering shoppers.Â
It seems the 49-year-old is a magnet for people looking to cause drama. However, he is hard at work on his new wine company, Eighty-One, and lifestyle brand, Prototype81. Owens is clearly unbothered by the troublemakers.Â
