A Texas high school principal was placed on administrative leave for allegedly promoting critical race theory.
It seems some school officials are doing all they can to stop the education of critical race theory. According to CNN, Principal James Whitfield of Colleyville Heritage High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area was placed on a paid administrative leave after a person attending a board school meeting accused him of “extreme views on race.” The person also called for Whitfield, who’s been with the school since 2018, to be fired.
In a Facebook post, Whitfield responded to people who have been demanded that he be fired.
“I can no longer maintain my silence in the face of this hate, intolerance, racism, and bigotry,” he wrote.” I am not the CRT (Critical Race Theory) Boogeyman. I am the first African American to assume the role of Principal at my current school in its 25-year history, and I am keenly aware of how much fear this strikes in the hearts of a small minority who would much rather things go back to the way they used to be.”
