The Chrisleys are making a TV comeback eight months following Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s commencements of their prison sentences.
Earlier this year, the two reality stars started their 12 and 7-year prison sentences for bank and tax fraud. Now, the children of the “Chrisley Knows Best” alums have revealed that they are currently in the process of filming a forthcoming reality show centered around their updated day-to-day life.
Crafted by Scout Productions, the untitled venture will capture the significant upcoming phase in the lives of Chase, Savannah, Grayson, and their niece Chloe, for whom Savannah assumed guardianship earlier this year. The show will also feature their grandmother, affectionately known as “Nanny” Faye Chrisley.
“The time was right to share our story, and we couldn’t have found better partners in Scout Productions,” Savannah said in a press release. “They’re ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unrivaled and I know they’re going to find the right home for this next chapter of our lives. We’re so happy to be back.”
Savannah recently hinted at the development of a fresh family-oriented show, simultaneously debunking speculations about the creation of a documentary centered on her parents’ legal troubles.
“First off, I want to set the record straight—there is no family documentary that’s happening,” she said in an Instagram story. “Me, Chase, the kids, and Nannie are filming a new reality show and we’ve partnered with an amazing production company to do this and it’s going to be the first reality show that we’ve done. But when it comes to a documentary, not happening.”
Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has assured that the series will offer an inside look into “everything that’s going down,” even amidst her parents’ time behind bars, including insights into “calls with mom and dad.” Since their convictions for bank and tax fraud in November 2022, Todd and Julie have consistently maintained their innocence and are actively pursuing an appeal against their federal convictions.
