When it comes your wedding, is there a such thing as too sexy? Every little girl’s dream is to have a princess style wedding with her ballgown, surrounded by family and friends. The traditional look consisted of  brides wearing big gowns that featured lace and embroidered details. Well, it seems that times have changed and designers are creating more looks with sex appeal.
Designer Alon Livne White showcased her Spring 2017 Bridal Collection in New York City. Each piece was unique and took sexiness to another level. The pieces consisted of lace, high splits, bodysuits, and embellished details. But the question still remains… Is it okay for your “Big Day?” While the models are rocking the sexy pieces down the runway, you have to keep in mind that it is not reality.
Now, I am all for a sexy look but why on your wedding day? Your special day is a day to remember with your spouse, family, and of course your close friends. The last thing you would want is to look back on your wedding day pictures and regret your choices. No one wants to experience that moment of having their vagina flashing while grandma, the in-laws, and more are enjoying themselves at the reception or even watching you walk down the aisle. Therefore, keep your goodies covered for your soon-to-be husband on your special night and more nights to remember.
So, keep in mind that there is a time and place for everything. It is okay to wear sheer and lace but you want to take it in moderation. Yes it is your day but you have to remain classy and respectable towards your guest. Being respectable includes your wardrobe.
The designer spoke with Cosmopolitan and stated:
“What you see out there with all the celebrities and social media, it’s getting into real life,” Livné said. “People want to be sexier.”
Some of the  gowns from the collection look more appropriate on the red carpet of the awards or an event. Now, I did come across a few gowns that would be perfect for your wedding day that was featured during the collection.
Take a look at some of the gowns that I consider “appropriate…”
Ladies, remember you want to keep you special wedding day just that special. Don’t get caught up in what you see others wearing. Instead, do it right the first time, so that you can be able to share those moments with your children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
