Three people, including a 15-year-old, were injured during a shooting inside the Kennywood amusement park in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night.
Investigators say a fight broke out between two groups of teens in front of the Musik Express ride shortly before 11 p.m. The altercation turned violent, and shots were fired, sending the crowd running.
The juvenile was listed in stable condition, and an adult male was treated and released. A third victim was also being treated for injuries, but no further details were available.
A gun was recovered at the scene, but police aren’t sure how the gunman got the weapon through security. According to the park’s website, parkgoers must pass through a metal detector before entering.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black hoodie and a Covid-style mask. No arrests have been made, and there is an ongoing search for the gunman.
In a statement, Kennywood said it is “working with local law enforcement.”
