In this week’s episode of #JadaPinkettSmith’s web television talk show, “Red Table Talk,” the actress sat down with her “Girls Trip” co-star, #TiffanyHaddish, to talk Haddish’s recent catapult to fame, her outrageous Hollywood stories and her love life.
In fact, the comedian shared an interesting story about her relationship with a particular superstar who asked her out on a date. Unfortunately for Haddish, things didn’t turn out the way she expected.
“I’m very busy,” Haddish prefaced. “I would like to date, I really don’t have enough time for it, but when someone asks me out on a date that I’m interested in hanging out with I will clear the schedule.”

In turn, Pinkett-Smith asked for specifics, which prompted Haddish to spill the tea about her would-be date with Drake after his “Nice For What” music video, which featured the comedian.

“He was like ‘Let me take you to dinner,’” Haddish said of the Canadian superstar. “So, I blocks all this time off, like shoot, I go get my mustache waxed, you know what I’m saying? Get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress. Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car? Where we going?'” she said. “And he’s like, ‘Oh, man, my bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.”

If being stood up wasn’t enough, Haddish said she also missed out on a few thousand dollars for the date that didn’t happen.

“I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do. But alright!” she joked, as the two laughed.
