Tiger Woods Returns to Golf After Mother’s Passing

Tiger Woods is set to return to competitive golf on February 18 as he competes in a TGL match.

This comes after the recent passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, who died earlier this month at 81 years old.

Before this, Woods had withdrawn from the 2025 Genesis Invitational to mourn his mother’s death. He had also planned to compete at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California, on February 13, but decided he wasn’t ready to play yet.

In a special tribute to his mom, the PGA Tour honored her at the Genesis Invitational by replacing the pin flag on the seventh hole with an all-white flag. This was a nod to her Buddhist faith, where white symbolizes clarity and purity.

Now, Tiger is preparing to return to the green, grateful for the support he’s received during this tough time and ready to get back to the sport he loves.
