As if TikTok doesn’t have enough trends, a new one has emerged that represents those who are happily childless, and it’s all thanks to JT.
The proper execution of the trend goes as follows: TikTok users will post a scenario that includes having freedom of some sort. This could be sleeping in late, shopping, etc. Then, a clip of JT explaining why she doesn’t have to partake in extra work because she is without youngsters is inserted.
“You gotta understand we live a totally different life. I don’t have kids. I don’t have to go as hard,” JT says in the soundbite from her interview with Angie Martinez, where she discusses why she doesn’t have as many career endeavors as Yung Miami.
TikTok creators have taken this seconds-long clip and made it the slogan for their kid-free lives. One user captioned her video, “When my momma call me asking why I’m still in the bed at 12 p.m.,” with the viral JT voiceover.
