After several recent arrests and relapses, Tommie Lee is asking a judge to allow her to seek professional help. But instead of rehabilitation for her alcoholism, TMZ reports the reality star is looking to get treatment for a serious mental illness.
In docs linked to Lee’s child abuse case, the star’s attorney entered a new request, claiming Lee was diagnosed around the time she was charged with the abusive incident. Although the documents failed to reveal the specific diagnosis, Lee claimed to be bipolar in a 2016 episode of “Raq Rants.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, according to the publication, Lee says she’s ready and willing to do whatever it takes to enter a new mental health program, even if it means staying sober and submitting random drug tests. However, Lee’s request is just the first step in a month-long application process.
