Singer Tori Kelly is facing life-threatening health challenges after suffering blood clots over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the “Never Alone” star was enjoying dinner with friends on Sunday when she suddenly passed out. Shortly before fainting inside the Los Angeles eatery, Kelly complained that her heart had begun beating abnormally fast. Her company sprang into action, rushing the “American Idol” alum from the location to Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
Once in the care of medical professionals, doctors made a grim discovery. The 30-year-old was suffering from blood clots in her legs and lungs. As of Monday, Kelly remained in intensive care, with sources claiming she is still in and out of consciousness. Insiders have described her condition as being “very serious” as doctors work to determine if there are any blood clots surrounding her heart. Kelly remains pretty private regarding her personal life, so it’s unclear if blood clots have been something she has dealt with in the past. Her fans have flocked to social media to send the vocalist well wishes on her recovery.

The medical emergency arrives at a seemingly joyous time in the Grammy-award winner’s life, with her new album, “Tori,” slated for release on July 28th. As of now, her team is remaining quiet about the medical emergency. Kelly’s husband, overseas basketball player André Murillo, has not commented on his wife’s condition.
