Tory Lanez is recovering in a hospital after reportedly being stabbed during a prison yard incident at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, TMZ confirms.
The Canadian artist, currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, was allegedly attacked Monday morning by another inmate. While the motivation behind the altercation remains unclear, sources told TMZ that Lanez was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital in Bakersfield for treatment.
Despite the serious nature of the incident, his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion following a Hollywood Hills party in 2020.
In addition to serving time, he remains entangled in legal battles with Megan, who has accused him of orchestrating an online smear campaign against her through bloggers and social media platforms.
