Miami rapper Trick Daddy was arrested early Saturday morning for possession of cocaine.
Miami-Dade police officer responded to a dark-colored Range Rover running red lights and hitting signs. The rapper “appeared to be asleep behind the wheel,” when the officer approached his vehicle.
According to the arrest affidavit, Trick Daddy had about five drinks hours while at the club earlier and was dropping someone off.
Reports say that the rapper had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery, glassy eyes and that the officer smelled alcohol on his breath.
Trick was taken to Hammocks District Station, and police found cocaine in a dollar bill while collecting his possessions in a plastic bag. He also had a warrant out for his arrest for driving under the influence, according to Miami Herald.
Bond was set at $5,000 on the cocaine possession charge and $1,000 on the driving under the influence charge.
