Donald Trump’s supporters seem to be delusional, drawing comparisons to Nelson Mandela.
Thursday, he was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.
Despite his legal troubles, Trump’s fans and voters remain steadfast in their support, firmly believing that he will emerge victorious in the upcoming presidential election.
And now, his supporters online are likening him to Mandela, just as the former president has done in the past.
As you know, Mandela, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and South Africa’s first post-apartheid president, famously endured 27 years of imprisonment as a “political prisoner.”
While some social media users are quick to dismiss any comparison between Trump and Mandela, others emphasize the clear distinctions separating these two individuals.
Black people, don’t cheer for this.
