Trump Mobile tried to build hype for its upcoming “T1 Phone,” claiming it was a powerful new device designed with sleek style and “big power.” But internet users quickly pointed out that something didn’t add up—and now the company is facing ridicule online.
In a flashy gold promo image shared by Trump Mobile, the so-called “T1 Phone” was revealed to be nothing more than a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra mockup inside a case made by accessory company Spigen. The Spigen logo was still faintly visible under the digitally added American flag design, making the Photoshop job easy to spot.
It didn’t take long for Spigen to notice—and clap back. The official Spigen account posted multiple responses on X, including:
• “??? bro what”
• “bro didn’t even try”
• “lawsuit incoming…”
The brand also shared a meme reaction, making it clear they were not amused.

Readers on X even added context to the original Trump Mobile post, clarifying that the phone shown in the promo was not a new model, but rather a doctored Samsung image.
Despite Trump Mobile encouraging preorders, the backlash has raised questions about whether the T1 Phone is a legitimate product or just a marketing stunt.
