Donald Trump is calling for his peeps to leave Twitter and Facebook after Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene gets the boot permanently from Twitter.
While Trump has left the Oval Office, he still seems to find time to act as a commander. On Monday, Trump released a statement, telling all his fans and followers to “drop off” Twitter and Facebook, seemingly all because Twitter kicked Greene off after she spread false information about the Coronavirus, which is a violation of the social media platform’s policy.
“Twitter is a disgrace to democracy. They shouldn’t be allowed to do business in this Country,” wrote Trump in his statement. “Marjorie Taylor Greene has a huge constituency of honest, patriotic, hard-working people. They don’t deserve what’s happened to them on places like low-life Twitter and Facebook. Everybody should drop off of Twitter and Facebook. They’re boring, have only a Radical Left point of view, and are hated by everyone. They are a disgrace to our Nation. Keep fighting, Marjorie!”
According to Newsweek, the Georgia representative was removed from Twitter this past Sunday. Before her permanent termination, she was suspended from the platform four times. Trump could be feeling pressed as his own account on Twitter was shut down for good as a result of his behavior during the January 6 U.S. Capitol riots.
