Two years after the fatal drive-by shooting that claimed the life of New York rapper, Chinx Drugz, the NYPD have finally made an arrest.

According to reports, 32-year-old Quincy Homere was arrested on Thursday and has since been charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Fox 5 NY reporter, Lisa Evers shared a video of the suspect on social media, which showed Homere covering up his face as police brought him inside.

Shortly after the video surfaced, TMZ reported that a second suspect was also charged in connection to the crime. 26-year-old Jamar Hill was charged with murder, assault and criminal possession. According to TMZ, both men were already serving jail time on unrelated charges when they were arrested and charged for Chinx’s death.

Although it remains unclear what led police to the suspects or what exactly linked them to the murder, as it stands, the family and friends of the late rapper will receive some justice.
