Ty Dolla $ign reveals that he was hospitalized after having a skateboarding accident.
On Saturday, the rapper shared a photo on Instagram notifying his followers that was in the hospital. The photo showed Ty lying in a hospital bed with medical wires attached to his bare chest.
Ty did not explain what was going on and instead opted for an opened hands and finger crossed emojis.

Some of Ty’s industry friends and collaborators extended their support and prayers in his comment section.
“Praying for you bro,” Big Sean wrote, who has worked with Ty on songs like “Play No Games” and “Body Language.”
However, Ty later explained the photo on his Instagram story and said he was involved in a skateboarding accident and has been released from the hospital.
“They just let me out. Had a skating accident and was knocked out for a few but I’m back praise God,” he wrote. “Thanks to everyone that prayed for me and showed love. I love you more.”
Ty also thanked professional skater Dashawn Jordan, who is believed to be with him at the time of the accident. The 40-year-old rapper says Dashawn transported him to the emergency room. In addition, Ty gave thanks to his daughter as well who was by his side the entire time.
“Thanks @dashawnjordan, @bolajibam for holding it down and getting me to the ER,” he continued, “and my princess @jailynncrystal for being there with me the whole time I love you so much.”
Shortly after, Ty tweeted that he was protected from damages due to his dreadlocks and hoodie. He added that he’s back and “bouta f*ck sh*t up.”
