Tyler Francis has broken his silence after Ashley Adionser announced their divorce earlier this week. The Love Is Blind star took to Instagram on January 23 to share his thoughts on the end of their marriage, expressing accountability for his role in their separation and reflecting on the challenges they faced as a couple.
“As many of you may have seen, Ashley has shared the news of our decision to end our marriage,” Tyler wrote in his Instagram Stories. “This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional process for both of us, and it is one we have approached with great care and respect for one another.”
Tyler went on to reveal that, despite their love story beginning with “hope and love,” the pair ultimately encountered obstacles they couldn’t overcome. “I take full accountability for my role in the difficulties we faced, and I respect Ashley’s decision to move forward in a way that prioritizes her peace and happiness,” he added.
The couple, who wed during the season 7 finale of Love Is Blind in October 2024, seemed deeply in love during their televised nuptials, exchanging heartfelt vows about their future together. However, their journey post-show wasn’t without challenges, including Tyler’s revelation about being a sperm donor and fathering multiple biological children, which added tension to their relationship.
Despite their split, Tyler praised his ex-wife, calling her “an incredible woman” and thanking her for the love and support she gave him during their time together. “I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for her,” he wrote. He ended his statement by asking for privacy and kindness as they both move forward separately, focusing on healing.
Ashley had previously confirmed the split on January 22, telling PEOPLE that their marriage had come to an end after several weeks of separation.
