Tyler Perry Accuser Says Filmmaker Jumped Into Bed With Him and Rubbed His Leg Without Consent [Video]

The man suing Tyler Perry is speaking out about the alleged sexual harassment he endured at the hands of the filmmaker.

Derek Dixon, an actor who appeared in Perry’s hit shows “The Oval” and “Ruthless,” is ready to go public with disturbing details about his $260 million lawsuit. In a clip from his upcoming ABC News interview, Dixon recalls one of the earliest incidents.

“I got into bed, and I noticed that he jumped into bed with me as well, and started rubbing my leg, and I jumped up out of bed,” he said.

Dixon claims Perry repeatedly made unwanted advances, including inappropriate messages and physical contact without consent. The actor says he initially filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission before deciding to walk away from the show entirely.

“This has been terrifying,” Dixon shared in an email to The Hollywood Reporter. “But I couldn’t just let him get away with it.”

His decision to speak out wasn’t just for himself.

“Everyone deserves to go to work and do their job without their boss trying to have sex with them,” Dixon stated. “I want to make sure others never have to deal with this kind of thing.”

Perry’s legal team has firmly denied all allegations. His attorney, Matthew Boyd, called the suit a scam, stating that Perry is being targeted by someone seeking a payout.

Still, Dixon stands by his story.

“Unless someone’s had control of their body taken away, they won’t understand what that feels like,” he reiterated.
