The grandmother of Tyler Robinson, the 23-year-old arrested in connection with a case involving conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, is standing firm in her family’s political identity while defending her grandson.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Debbie Robinson said the Robinsons are staunch Trump supporters. “My son, his dad, is a Republican for Trump,” she told the outlet. “Most of my family members are Republican. I don’t know any single one who’s a Democrat.”
Debbie stressed that while her family proudly supports Trump, Tyler himself never showed much interest in politics. She described him as “the shyest person” she knows and said he “never, ever spoke politics” around her.
