Uncle Luke Shares Hilarious Story About LisaRaye Shutting Down “Broke” NFL Players Trying to Date Her [Video]

Miami rap legend, Uncle Luke, recently gave fans humorous insight into LisaRaye’s “no-nonsense” approach to relationships.

In a now-viral video, Luke recalled a candid moment between him and LisaRaye that left him in shock but impressed by her brutal honesty. He reminisced about a night at Prince’s old club in South Beach.

“We was just sitting there chilling,” Luke began. “And LisaRaye said, ‘Luke, why all these broke a** football players tryna holla at me?’”

Despite her tough demeanor, which could turn off a lot of men, Luke couldn’t help but admire the actress’ unfiltered openness and being unapologetic about her dating standards.

“She keep it one hundred. I think all women should be like that…say what you want,” he added. “She’ll tell you in a minute, ‘I don’t like you. You can’t meet my standards.'”

Luke’s story comes on the heels of LisaRaye being put into the spotlight after her views on relationships went viral. Last month, LisaRaye appeared on Carlos King’s “Reality With The King” podcast and doubled down on her opinions on financial compatibility while dating. During the interview, she explained that even though she chooses not to get involved with a man who doesn’t meet her financial needs, her choice isn’t rooted in being materialistic but instead, in her awareness of her lifestyle.

“I’ve lived, and I’m gonna continue to live the way I’m used to because I can and I do!” she told King at the time. “You cannot hang with me. You are still wanting a vacation for the weekend. I vacation and go on holiday for the month. We are not going to be able to make this work.”
