T-Mobile users are now able to get free Wi-Fi connection on domestic United Airlines.
United Airlines now joins the ranks with Delta Airlines and Alaska Airlines as part of T-Mobile’s free in-flight domestic in-flight plans through its Magenta and Magenta Max subscriptions. According to The Verge, the company has a goal to provide benefits to its plans.
“Now, T-Mobile customers can stay connected from takeoff to landing and beyond on hundreds more flights, now including United Airlines!” said Mike Sievert, CEO of T-Mobile, Yahoo! News reports. “This latest expansion of Coverage Beyond is all part of our goal to keep customers connected even outside the signal of our network, and we’re on a nonstop mission to find new ways to make that happen.”
This move is an extension of its “Coverage Beyond” campaign. The program includes free in-flight Wi-Fi on domestic flights, but you can only access it for four flights out of the year. However, the company says you’ll be able to surf the web for the entire duration of the flight.
