Music from Tupac Shakur’s pre-Death Row era could soon have a new home.
Moments In Time is offering a rare capsule of unreleased Shakur music, dating back to late 1990 and early 1991. This collection includes lyrics and recordings from an abandoned album by Jesse and the Kidz, a group Shakur collaborated with before their project was ultimately scrapped for good.
The collection features three tracks where Shakur takes the lead, delivering never-before-heard verses. Though these lyrics have never been publicly released, potential buyers can preview sample sheets of Shakur’s rhymes before purchasing.
For a staggering $250,000, this hidden gem is available exclusively through a private sale. While the purchase grants the privilege of listening indefinitely, any public release would require approval from Shakur’s estate, which remains in control of his musical distribution.
Shakur was fatally gunned down in 1996, and in recent days, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the sole survivor who allegedly helped orchestrate the crime, has stated he is innocent. However, years of interviews and even a book recounting Shakur’s death and final moments refute this.
