A 45-year-old wealthy horse heiress has been charged with allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy.
Savannah Daisley was charged Monday with having sex with the teenager four times on May 20th, 2021, in her home. Authorities say Daisley spoke to the victim over the phone and admitted to kissing him but claims she does not remember engaging in sex acts with him. It is unclear how she initially met the boy.
In a recent social media post, Daisley celebrated over 200 days of sobriety, disclosing that she’d had a drinking problem. In a recorded conversation with a police officer, the mother of two alluded to being intoxicated during the assault.
“I thought we had placed this in a little box and thrown it deep into the sea,” she reportedly said on the tape.
On Tuesday, the founder of Smart Cleanse and daughter of famed horse breeder Ross Daisley appeared in Waverley Local Court in Sydney, Australia. Judge Jaqueline Milledge denied her bond, despite her wealthy father offering $10,000 for her release. She will remain behind bars for at least a month until her next court appearance on August 2nd. Police have also granted an apprehended violence order to the victim.
Daisley used her fortune to jumpstart Smart Cleanse in 2014, a 14-day weight loss program. She has also authored two books about health and wellness. Daisley has not yet entered a plea, but her attorney, Pierre de Dassel, expects her to plead not guilty to the charges. He says the claims against her were made out of pure spite.
“There is motivation around the timing of it that really affects the credibility and strength of the case,” Dassel stated.

When I was 14 a friend of my mother’s taught me about sex in a series of gentle, loving, sessions over a period of about a year. I doubt that sex four times in one day could have been anything other than a meeting of lust and innocence.
