Webbie Reacts To The Backlash He Received For An Outfit He Wore In A Pimp C Tribute: "Quit Playing On The Internet Before Sh*t Get Crazy" [Video]

Webbie Instagram

Webbie addresses backlash he received after posting a Pimp C tribute.

Over the weekend, the Louisiana rapper posted a picture on Instagram where he was seen wearing a black fur coat along with a matching hat, black jeans, and white sneakers. In the photo, Webbie revealed his “Savage Life” tattoo on his stomach. However, he was not shirtless as he appeared to be wearing either a rolled-up wife beater vest or a black crop top underneath the coat.

Webbie’s picture appeared to be a homage to the late UGK rapper Pimp C signature fashion, which is characterized by his frequent fur coats and hats. Despite the image being a tribute, many people disapproved on the outfit.

“Webbie you been gangsta all yo life and you pop up on my TL in a crop top?” one commenter wrote.

Nevertheless, Webbie quickly responded to the negative comments and questioned why he doesn’t go viral when he speaks positivity to the youth.

“Why y’all don’t repost, double post sh*t when I tell the kids to stay in school and you can be whatever you want to be. You know, the positive things about life,” he said. “Quit playing on the internet before this sh*t get crazy. Savage life, the dumb way.”
