Brace yourself as a new alcoholic beverage has just dropped just in time for the summer!
Last month, Welch’s released its new line of canned drinks, Welch’s Craft Cocktails, in partnership with COOP Bev Works. According to their website, the ready-to-drink “adult-friendly” beverages are currently available in four flavors as Vodka Cranberry, Passion Fruit Mojito, Watermelon Mule, and Vodka Transfusion.
“We are extremely excited to enter this growing category and provide adult consumers a flavor-forward cocktail with real fruit juices and quality ingredients,” a representative for the company said.
To break down the drinks, each canned beverage features real fruit and has an alcohol percentage of 5.9%. The transfusion flavor is a blend of Welch’s original Concord Grape juice, ginger, citrus, and vodka, while its Vodka Cranberry puts a twist on the drink by mixing the spirit with the company’s cranberry juice. As far as the Watermelon Mule, the cocktail combines real watermelon juice with vodka and ginger spice. Lastly, the Passion Fruit Mojito, this beverage includes passion fruit juice, with a hint of mint and lime.
“These products were developed to elevate the experience of ready-to-drink cocktails by using real fruit juices and ingredients that today’s consumers are looking for. Whether these drinks are being enjoyed at dinner parties, out on the golf course or after a long day at work, Welch’s Craft Cocktails deliver a refreshing experience with quality ingredients,” the representative added.
Nevertheless, the Craft Cocktails are currently available for purchase in Georgia, Illinois, California, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Michigan, and New Jersey but will be expanding to more states in the future.
