The NBA is under a lockout but it seems NFL Ballers are the ones having financial woes. Eagles Receiver, Desean Jackson issued a statement yesterday after being benched for missing a team meeting. At first his excuse was that he overslept but he is now changing up his story and saying that he’s going through a lot financially.
“It’s just kind of a tough situation for myself but I’ve just got to be a man about it and just learn from everything that happens.”
What’s this tough situation he speaks of? Well apparently Desean owes his agent, Drew Rosenhaus hundreds of thousands of dollars and is currently using Rosenhaus’ credit card to get by. Jackson wants a new contract, but even when he signs that deal he’s going to owe lots of money. He also took out a multi million dollar insurance policy on himself, so maybe Rosenhaus can kill him if he doesn’t pay up.

Desean, you’re fine but you’re a dummy and deserve every ounce of your brokeness. Don’t spend money you don’t have and then cry broke later. Now you’re borrowing money to survive.
