A verbal altercation between two men turned into a physical fight outside a BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, leaving one man dead.

According to a police report, Julius “Juice” Randolph Sampson Jr. was fatally shot by 22-year-old #RobertGranato on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at around 3:30 p.m. Sampson, 32, was a newlywed. Granota is believed to be a white supremacist.

Medical officials responded to the incident and later pronounced Sampson dead at the scene.

Police report the situation started with a disagreement between the two men inside the restaurant. After a few minutes of arguing, the two went outside and continued to go at it with one another. Moments later Granato took out a gun and fired into Sampson.

Sampson was widely known around his neighborhood as Juice; the victim worked at Supreme Legacy Barbershop located in Hanes Mall. When news broke about his death, the city broke into an outcry, calling for #JusticeForJuice. In a statement published on Facebook, Sampson’s wife said, “I want the world to know the amazing young man that was senselessly snatched away from me and our family. I want awareness and justice for my husband. My husband wasn’t an animal that deserved slaughtering.”

As for Granato, his social media is filled with a several pictures of guns, ammunition and in one post Granato can be seen wearing a “Murica” shirt while making what could be mistaken for a white supremacist symbol. Granato has been charged with first-degree murder and carrying a concealed handgun after consuming alcohol. He will not be granted bond.
