Whoopi Goldberg is already an award-winning actress, and now she can add clothing designer to her lengthy resume.
The 60-year old “The View” host has designed an “ugly Christmas sweater” collection comprised of nine sweaters.
Her special collection will go on sale at Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay on Tuesday.
“I’ve always liked them,” Goldberg told the New York Times. “They make me happy. I’ve worn them for many years. I thought about all the things I’d love to see on a sweater.”
While these sweaters might be ugly, they sure aren’t cheap. Each sweater retails for $139 and are made from wool, alpaca, cashmere and cotton.
The line also includes a variety of designs ranging from an octopus-Menorah mash-up to images of both a black and white Santa Clause.
While the endeavor is just the beginning of her fashion career, Goldberg says that if the sweaters are successful, she would love to create a holiday footwear and housewares collection.
