Back in November, Will.i.am was hit with a lawsuit over a business deal gone wrong. But now, the Black Eyed Peas singer is firing back.
Initially, FIH Mobile filed a suit against Will.i.am’s company, i.am+ for their failure to fork over the cash to produce his own line of high-quality headphones through the company, the @blast reports.
In the suit, FIH claimed the singer’s company placed an order for $3.4 million worth of headphones, but never paid off their debt. So, FIH took the matter to court.

However, in Will.i.am’s rebuttal, he claims his ex-business partner provided subpar products that he refused to tell to his fans.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In fact, according to The Blast, the singer says there was never an official agreement in place over the headphones. In new documents obtained by the publication, Will.i.am says FIH dropped the ball on scheduling, production, and delivery. In addition, the singer says he had already forked over $5 million, under the pretense that the FIH would only receive $2.3 million from i.am+, despite the $3.4 million claims made in their suit.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a result, Will.i.am feels he owes FIH nothing, in fact, he wants the entire suit thrown out.
