Young Buck denies receiving a $250,000 advance from 50 Cent and G-Unit as he addresses the debt settlement in his bankruptcy case.
The conflict revolves around a 2014 agreement. 50 Cent alleges that Young Buck owes money for failing to fulfill his G-Unit contract, but Young Buck denies it, asserting that the funds were not a loan.
According to documents obtained by AllHipHop, Young Buck’s legal team disputes G-Unit Records’ $250,000 claim, arguing that any funds received were an advance before the contract signing, not a debt.
Young Buck’s lawyer, Jonathan Augusta, claims that the contract doesn’t require Buck to repay the funds, challenging G-Unit Records’ claim. Without an explicit provision for repayment in case of a breach, Buck’s attorneys argue the claim lacks merit and should be dismissed.
The ongoing clash between the two artists spans years, involving legal and personal conflicts over contracts, debts, and public insults.
Young Buck has filed for bankruptcy twice due to financial struggles.
In 2010, he faced debts to 50 Cent, the IRS, child support, and other issues. The second filing in May 2020 aimed to restructure debts under Chapter 13, following a challenging 2019 with jail time and financial difficulties.
