A series of three live shows will take place in Toronto at the end of the month and the beginning of August for Drake’s October World Weekend.
As part of the three-day festival, “All Canadian North Stars” will open the festival on July 28. Chris Brown and Lil Baby will play live on July 29, while Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne will headline the following week on August 1 for the “Young Money Reunion.”
OVO Fest, which Drake has been hosting in Toronto since 2013, is not being replaced by October World Weekend; instead, it is being used as a stand-in while an anniversary event is planned for the following year.
“I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary, but of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come,” Drake posted to his Instagram.
