Young Thug and Gunna

Young Thug’s official Twitter account has once again sparked controversy with some questionable tweets, this time directed at Gunna.

On Saturday, a tweet was quickly shared and deleted, reading: “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know you my guy.”

Since Thug was released from jail after serving two years, many have speculated about his relationship with Gunna. The rapper faced accusations of cooperating with authorities in the YSL RICO case, which many believed led to his early release.  However, Thug’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., defended Gunna, stating that he had not done anything wrong. Additionally, during his sentencing, Thug requested to be allowed to continue working with Gunna. The tweet, however, would seem to contradict the idea that the two are on good terms.

Thug has not publicly addressed his recent Twitter posts.  However, other tweets from his account have stirred discussions online. On November 3rd, one message read, “Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter.”

Gunna has yet to publicly comment on Thug’s release or the recent social media comments.
