Zac Stacy, a former NFL player, was arrested in Florida Thursday night after reportedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend in front of their 5-month-old on Saturday.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the 30-year-old former NFL running back was charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief for the caught-on-camera assault of his baby’s mother, Kristin Evans, at her home.
Stacy allegedly fled the State after the claimed incident, but records show he was apprehended by Orlando police.
He is currently detained in the Orange County Jail.
The former running back allegedly got upset with Evans after stopping by to visit their son. He “struck [her] on the right side of her head, and picked her up and threw her against the television, causing it to crack and fall over,” according to police.
“He continued yelling at her and striking her while she got up from the floor, and picked her up again and threw her into the baby’s bouncy chair,” said the arrests affidavit obtained by The Post.
“While she was still on the floor pleading for him to stop, he picked her up and body-slammed her onto a baby walker, causing the object to break,” the affidavit said.
Evans alleges Stacy has been beating her since she became pregnant with his child last year, and the violent attacks have escalated.
According to a police report filed in October, Stacy allegedly slapped her while she was holding their son.
